What to expect from the all-new 2022 Mazda MX-30

Unveiled last April, the all-new Mazda MX-30 2022 is about to make its debut in Canada. More specifically, it will arrive in the fall and promises to offer all the versatility and driving pleasure one would expect from a Mazda vehicle while being 100% electric. Yes, the Mazda MX-30 is a 100% electric SUV, Mazda's first.

We do not yet know its price, but we do know that it will be equipped with an electric motor that delivers 144 horsepower and a torque of 200 lb-ft. A 35.5 kWh battery should provide more than 300 kilometers of range, enough to do the vast majority of our trips without a problem. Even when we must go further, the MX-30 is there for us as it is able to recharge to 80% in just 36 minutes.

Equipped with cutting-edge technologies including Mazda's G-Vectoring Control system, the MX-30 should behave with the same enthusiasm and liveliness as most of the brand's products. Simply put, the 2022 Mazda MX-30 will be just as fun and versatile as a Mazda CX-5, for example.
