The new 2022 Mazda MX-30 will arrive in dealerships in Quebec this fall. The new fully-electric Mazda sport utility vehicle promises to deliver impressive features and tech as well as great driving dynamics and of course, a lot of range. Let’s take a closer look at three things to know about the 2022 Mazda MX-30.
It will start at $42,150 before federal and provincial rebates
The 2022 Mazda MX-30 will come in two versions, GS and GT, with a starting price of $42,150. The 2022 Mazda MX-30 GT will start at $47,150.
The good news here is that the 2022 Mazda MX-30 will be offered with both the Quebec EV rebate and the Canada federal electric vehicle incentive. The rebates of up to $13,000 will mean that the MX-30 will cost less than $30,000!
It will offer the electric range you need
Powered by a 35.5 kWh battery, the 2022 Mazda MX-30 offers the benefits of an electric vehicle with several other advantages. The MX-30 has 161 kilometres of range which is enough for most of your daily commutes and it has the advantage of charging a lot faster than other electric vehicles:
Level 3: 36 minutes (20% to 80%)
Level 2: 2 hours and 50 minutes
Level 1: 13 hours and 40 minutes
In other words, the 2022 Mazda MX-30 charges just as fast with a regular home outlet as most electric vehicles charge on a Level 2 charger.
It will drive and feel like a Mazda
If you’re concerned that an electric vehicle is boring to drive and doesn’t offer very impressive handling, the 2022 Mazda MX-30 is here to change your mind. It is a true Mazda vehicle with the feel, agility, and handling you expect. The MX-30 is the EV you can have fun driving.
