Mazda Connected Services Introduced on Mazda CX-5 and CX-9
May 27 2021,
Mazda is introducing a suite of connected services which will be offered this Fall on the new Mazda CX-5 and CX-9. Part of a host of improvements introduced to both models as a mid-year refresh, the new Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 with Mazda Connected Services will offer a host of benefits to owners.
The idea is to make sure that you are connected to your vehicle as much as possible. This means that you will be able to remotely lock or unlock the doors, or start or stop the vehicle using a new mobile app. You can also get health checks on the vehicle meaning that if there is a problem with the vehicle, you will be notified through the app.
The new Mazda Connected Services system will be available on a free trial basis on the two SUVs this fall.
Other changes made to the new CX-5 and CX-9 in this mid-year refresh include the addition of standard i-ACTIVESENSE active safety technology on the Mazda CX-5, a new larger 10.25-inch centre screen with an improved Mazda infotainment system, standard 19-inch wheels for the GS trim with all-wheel drive, and wireless charging which is now offered on the CX-9 in GS-L trim.
