What Does the Unlimited Mileage Warranty Cover?

The Mazda Unlimited Mileage Warranty fundamentally guarantees that your new Mazda vehicle is devoid of any material or workmanship defects. In the rare case a defect does occur, you can be assured that Mazda de Laval is ready to correct any problem covered by this warranty free of charge. We commit to this repair work using either new or remanufactured parts as per the requirement.

Warranty Coverage Periods

Since the 2015 model year, any component of a Mazda vehicle comes under the warranty for 36 months, without any limitation on kilometres driven. This coverage begins from the date of retail delivery or first use of the vehicle, whichever is earlier.

The unlimited mileage advantage applies to multiple different warranty protections within the new Mazda vehicle lineup. Here’s an overview of the protections that come with your new Mazda:

In other words, Mazda owners benefit from extended protections across multiple components within the engine, inside the vehicle, or outside, and you know you have roadside assistance for three years regardless of how many kilometres you drive.

Exceptional Provisions

Certain components of the vehicle have separate coverage conditions. Service adjustments, for example, minor repairs not typically associated with parts replacement, are covered for the first 12 months with unlimited kilometres for 2015 models and newer. For the 2000-2014 model years, these are covered for the first 12 months or 20,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.

The air conditioner refrigerant charge, another essential part of your Mazda, is covered for the first 12 months of the warranty period, regardless of the kilometres driven. For the remainder of the warranty period, it is covered only when replenished as part of a warranty repair.

The original equipment battery for the 2015 model year is entirely covered within the basic warranty period of 36 months with unlimited kilometres. For the models from 2014 or before, the battery is entirely covered for the first 12 months, followed by a prorated coverage for up to 36 months.

Mazda Added Protection (MAP)
